The Journo Resources newsletter was one of the first I subscribed to as a freelancer. Although specialised in Journalism, this email also shares other digital content job opportunities; divided up into Starting out Jobs, Next Step Jobs and Freelance Gigs. As the name suggests, this newsletter is specifically for the black community. Having a newsletter specifically relating to your cultural background is particularly useful. Livity is a youth marketing agency. I joined their newsletter as a teenager and have been receiving updates since then! The Livity newsletter contains jobs and events for creatives in various industries. They also sometimes advertise paid focus groups on youth culture! The Contently newsletter is more for SEO writers/ Content Marketers. But if you’re writing online, SEO should be part of your writing process anyway! The Drum Magazine Digest
The Drum Magazine is a giant in the Digital Marketing world. Their newsletter is similar to Contently in that it is a summary of articles. However, The Drum offers more content outside of writing, expanding to other aspects of digital marketing. For example, social media management.
