Near Lewisham station, along Loampit Vale, there are a line of shops, many of which are hair and beauty bars. However, one store which is unique in its selling point is independent business, Garden of Eden. Opened in 2015, from what used to be a book shop called iBelieve Books, Garden of Eden has now transferred to a holistic plant shop, selling a range of different plants, from simple small sizes to exotic larger ones. They also sell candles, occasional jewellery and they still have a small section for books too.

The 3 year old business is owned by Angela, a faith filled business women focused on bringing quality customer care to her visitors. When visiting her store I am always warmly greeted and the cosy sized shop carries a relaxed and welcoming vibe, with chilled jazz music playing in the background.

It is a local business I am happy to support and share word about. You can visit Garden of Eden’s Instagram and Facebook page via the links below and if in the area, why not pop in?
