Innocent Hair Care is a sustainable afro hair product brand based in London. Their products are packaged in glass and uses natural, organic ingredients including ylang-ylang essential oil, jojoba oil, Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Oil, and more. You can have a list of their full ingredients on their website.
I’m sure you can agree in the times that we are currently in, we want to be as resourceful as possible. As many hair and beauty supply retailers are closed, we may gravitate more towards online shopping. Innocent hair care is eco-friendly and has a luxurious scent across their full range. The jars they come with can easily be used to store other things once you’ve finished with them.
The Unboxing of Innocent Haircare Sustainable Hair Products
From opening the packaging of Innocent Hair Care’s full range, I was struck by the beautiful yellow custard looking mixture. The consistency of their branding drew me in closer.
The glass bottles were paired with gold-tinted lids. Helpfully, they have also packaged two pumps alongside this to help distribute the narrow-necked shampoo and conditioner out of their bottles.
Damage Repair Cleansing Shampoo
To begin my innocent hair care wash routine, I used the Damage Repair Cleansing Shampoo. When taking off the lid of this to replace it with the pump, a luxurious scent welcomes you, sourced from the rich contents.
A little bit goes a long way with this. The thick creamy liquid rubs into your hair to create a foam soapy consistency to easily distribute into your hair. Once applied and rinsed, my hair felt squeaky clean but needed some added moisture afterwards. This leads to the next step…
Soften and Smooth Conditioner
To add moisture back into your hair from the conditioner, the soften and smooth conditioner, which also has a divine smell, should be lavished throughout your hair with the given pump.
Just keep pumping until the product oozes through. I love the consistency of this soft and smooth conditioner.
My hair naturally took to it, making it feel super smooth and soft. It really does live up to its name! I usually deep condition with my Aphrodite conditioning cap and I did the same with this wash day. My hair strands soaked up the goodness of this product even more through this. They melted into my tresses like butter!
Moisturising Leave-In Conditioner
The Moisturising Leave-In Conditioner can be used simply by unscrewing the lid and using your finger to scoop some and put into your hair. This is paired so well with the conditioner. I noticed my hair was much softer, making it easier to detangle and style. This naturally led onto the final step…
Moisture Sealant Pomade
Finally, the Moisture Sealant Pomade is designed to seal and solidify all the moisture applied in this routine. Each of the Innocent Hair Care products has a deluxe smell to them that will follow you wherever you go. When I went to bed that night my pillow was a treat to sleep on as I was welcomed by the lovely scent of the hair products. This continued throughout the next day too.
