I’ve been learning a few recipes during self-isolation. Last week I shared a Marble Cake Recipe. This week, it’s a chocolate chip brownie recipe. The recipe, carried out by my friend, was delicious. Not too sweet and the right tender texture. This recipe can serve around 7 people with enough to have extras.
Ingredients For A Chocolate Chip Brownie Recipe
Dark chocolate x 1 tablet chocolate
White sugar x 1/2 cup
Salted butter x 1 cup
Chocolate Chip packet x 1
Large Eggs x3
Vanilla x 1 teaspoon
Plain flour x 1 cup
Large Eggs x3
Nutmeg x a pinch
Salt x a pinch
Cinnamon x a pinch
Brown sugar x 1/2 cup
Cocoa powder
Tools For A Chocolate Chip Brownie Recipe
A Baking Tin
Mixing Bowls x 1 Large and x 1 Medium
A Whisk
A Sieve
Fan Oven
Prepping A Chocolate Chip Brownie Recipe
Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius on a fan oven. Grease the baking tin with unsalted margarine.
Step 1
Break chocolate tablet into small pieces and put into a medium microwave-safe mixing bowl. Put the salted butter in the bowl too. Put 3tbspoons of the chocolate chips in the mix too. Then put it in the microwave for about 2minutes 30seconds to melt the chocolate. Check at 1 minute to see how it is doing, shake a bit then continue microwaving if needed.
Step 2
Once the chocolate is melted, let it cool down in temperature for a bit.
Step 3
Measure 1/2 cup of plain white sugar and 1/2 cup of brown sugar and pour them into a large mixing bowl.
Step 4
Combine the melted chocolate with the sugar and whisk together. Add the vanilla, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Continue to whisk.
Step 5
Crack the 3 eggs into the chocolate and sugar mixture and whisk together to combine into the mixture
Step 6
Measure 1 cup of plain flour and pour it into a sieve on top of the large mixing bowl with the chocolate mix and shake into the mixture to remove the lumps. Do the same with the cocoa powder.
Step 7
Combine all of this mix with a whisk continuously until a smooth consistency is achieved and add the rest of the chocolate chips into the mix too.
Step 8
Once the smooth consistency is achieved pour evenly into the baking tin and flatten out with a smooth to create a leveled out mixture in the pan.
Step 9
Put the cake mix into the over for 40 minutes.
Step 10
Once the 40 minutes are up, take the cake mix from the oven. Poke a knife in the brownies to see if they are cooked. The knife should be majority dry, with maybe a little wet chocolate mix from the moisture of the brownie.
If baked through, serve as desired. Cut into sections to be served. You can have it with some whipped cream, ice cream or even custard! Whatever tickles your fancy!
